CPIC for New Coaches

GKSA is asking new coaches and co-coaches to obtain a CPIC (police background check) for our upcoming softball season (not required for assistant coaches) You can obtain a CPIC online or in person at the Kingston Police Department. GKSA will reimburse every new coach for this. To get reimbursed, simply mail your receipt to Dennis Linton (our treasurer Houston Astros includes upcoming game tickets) with your return mailing address. This will also benefit you with your children and their school. To go on a school trip you need to have a CPIC done.

Helmets and Facemasks

As the snow fades, we're getting more and more excited for softball!   Haven't registered yet???  Make sure you do it soon so your son/daughter gets on a team before the coaches meeting in late April. This year we are asking that you purchase your son/daughter their own helmet (for health reasons).  If they are Bantam and below, they also need to have a facemask attached to the helmet (for safety reasons).   If you are looking for that, amongst other things for the season, please drop in and see our friends at Play It Again Sports in Kingston.  They are aware…
