As of now, the city softball diamonds are open for use! Get out there and have a blast!!! Remember, both the schedules for games and for general use can be found on our website.
The Kingston Kobras Novice Rep team is hosting six fantastic teams on May 20th and 21st at Cloverdale diamonds. This is Kingston's first rep tournament in some time and we're super excited about it. Come on out and watch some great fastball with teams from Ontario and Quebec. Here's the schedule: If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Jon Swaine at 613-572-0926. Go Kobras!!!
Hold tight people! Information will come as soon as we get it ourselves. As of this moment, the diamonds are still closed and it's going to be up to the city as to whether or not they open for Monday. As soon as we find out anything at all, we'll post it here! One scheduling update - any T-Ball and Jr. Mite games scheduled for Bayridge 3 may be moved to Cloverdale 2 as Bayridge 3 still needs some maintenance. Contact your convener and/or coach for more information. In the meantime, check out our 2017 Season tab for lots of information…
It's actually not raining today so that puts us in ball mode! The schedules are here!!! Take a look under the "2017 Schedules" tab to find your category and have a look. Share it with the grandparents and fans alike. As soon as those diamonds open up, we'll be there. For the washed out games, be sure to contact the opposing team to reschedule!
Everyone please keep singing along with Blind Melon and wish for no more rain!!! Diamonds are closed until May 8th at the earliest - we'll let you know as soon as the city gives us the go-ahead.
GKSA is asking new coaches and co-coaches to obtain a CPIC (police background check) for our upcoming softball season (not required for assistant coaches) You can obtain a CPIC online or in person at the Kingston Police Department. GKSA will reimburse every new coach for this. To get reimbursed, simply mail your receipt to Dennis Linton (our treasurer) with your return mailing address. This will also benefit you with your children and their school. To go on a school trip you need to have a CPIC done.
